Low mileage running 1FZ engine long block from a 1997. Mileage is 100,802 (yes that is correct). Engines with this mileage that are being parted are almost unheard of anymore.
We drove it on/off of the trailer without issue and it ran/sounded great. The engine will come with the distributor and injector harness, no other items are inlcuded, this is the long block only. However, they can be added for additional cost.
A compression test was done, the numbers are below. #3 cylinder was lower than the rest and is most likely a blown head gasket (HG). Given how common blown head gaskets are in the 95+ models, when doing an engine swap it is a good idea to go ahead and put in a new head gasket. It's much easier and faster to do on a stand that in vehicle. If you swap an engine without doing a HG, it could blow 6 months later, which will cost more time and money.
Additionally, we recommend swapping out the rubber parts on these before putting the engine in.
