What goes into their remanufactured process? Each starter has the below list done: 

1. The solenoid is completely remanufactured or replaced with new
2. The brush plate holder is cleaned and plated for corrosion prevention.
3. The armature is tested and recoated.
4. The commutator is remachined or replaced for proper brush contact.
5. The drive is completely remanufactured or replaced.
6. The gear is chamfer checked.
7. All housings are cleaned and refinished to prevent corrosion
